Cookie dough for breakfast? Sure thing! Try these almond butter cookie oats and have both your hunger and cravings curbed for the rest of the day.

Insert the word “cookie dough” into any recipe and you immediately have my attention. If you’re feeling a bit sweet, these Almond Cookie Dough Oats will save the day without the calorie splurge or nutrition cheat. Here is a variation of “cookie dough” oats, as part of my multi-part series with twists on oats for the sweet-toothed.
You will need:

- 1 TBSP Almond Butter
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 TBSP Cacao Nibs
- 1/2 Cup Oats
- 1/4 Cup Almond Milk
- 1/3 Cup Yogurt of choice (unsweetened)
- Pour almond milk into a saucepan, and flicker onto low simmer.
- Pour cup of oats inside, mixing with almond milk. Watch oats to ensure they aren’t burning.
- Let cook until oats have softened, about 3 minutes. Cool for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour into bowl, then mix a scoop of vanilla protein powder in thoroughly.

5. Top with yogurt (I use nonfat Greek), cacao nibs, and almond butter.
