Customization

How did I choose this bike over other competitors? They offer slightly more options during ordering that were really crucial to me, including size (I needed a small). and step-through versus diamond shaped frame. For ladies, having a diamond frame isn’t always ideal or easy, so it’s a great benefit to have the option of step-through.

Often, a bike purchase includes none of the extras: bottle cage, kickstand, etc – it’s all add-on, so this is a major plus. Your order may take a couple months to arrive, but I assure you it is easy to assemble once it comes out of that box. I assembled this 100% on my own using the video instructions online, and had a cyclist take a look at it to ensure it was good. PS, this avid group of cyclists from Woodside, CA (a very cyclist town) saw the bike and said it looked fantastic – so that’s a great stamp of approval.

How does it handle IRL?

I’ve taken the bike on a few terrains, mostly paved and dirt. It’s a smooth ride on paved cement, with three gears – the lower gears are quieter and swifter. Remember to use higher gears on flatter grounds, and switch to lower gears for hilly courses.

Just like with any bicycle, beware of winds – this one is no exception to the resistance and push.

Now that I’ve recently moved to Southern California as well, this bike has already weathered several beach bike trips and is doing just well, on both sunny days and against the wind. Just beware, like with any bike, that it is not a beach tire bike, so go slower over large patches of sand so you don’t slide or slip. And always, remember to wear a helmet!

Customer Service & details

Priority is headquartered in NYC, where bikes are designed. I believe bikes are manufactured in China. The Priority Classic Plus is just one of many great bikes they design, but it was the one that checked all my boxes in a beach cruiser and casual bike. They also have other colors that are perfect for beachgoers and cyclists.

Customer service-wise, I actually DM’ed them on Instagram to determine what the blush color actually looked like, and they very graciously responded immediately. That was a huge thumbs up!

Scope out the Priority Classic Plus Beach Cruiser bike and get yours to enjoy year-round!
